| Project 1 Modernist MGN were asked to produce a modernist interior within an old barn building. The first consideration was to retain and feature the original beams which would create a contrast against the modernist whitewashed background. To achieve this goal, traditional layout ideas were reversed by leaving the upper floor as a completely open plan living space and the lower floor as the bedrooms and bathrooms. |
